White Deer Lodge is our Healing Space in Gardner. Our land is a beautiful oasis of the natural world.We have a Medicine Wheel, an Apacheta, and Sweat Lodge. The original owner of the land was Jesse White Deer. Jesse purchased the land from the government in 1858. He was one of the first Native Americans to own land in this area. Jesse was a member of the Shawnee tribe. His spirit and the spirit of his ancestors are very present on the land.

White Deer Lodge is adjacent to our home. It is the place where we do our work and teachings. The Lodge has a 22x22 meeting space that is heated and air conditioned with lighting on dimmers. The Lodge also includes a small comfortably furnished lounge area outside the meeting space, a small kitchen that includes a beverage station, a small refrigerator, a microwave, and a table for food. There is a bathroom with a composting toilet. Outside the Lodge is a deck with seating for breaks and outside gathering.

Take I-35 South to the Santa Fe Exit
past Olathe.

Turn West (right) at the Exit

Continue on Santa Fe through downtown Olathe.. you will proceed for about 7.5 miles ( passing Olathe Lake along the way) Santa Fe will turn into 135th Street.

At around the 7.5 mile mark you will come to the intersection of 135th and Gardner Rd. Kat Nursery is on the corner, as well as a large house with a white fence and many brick buildings.

Turn Left (south) at 135th and Gardner Rd..

Go South I mile on Gardner road until you get to 143rd St.
Turn right on 143rd St. (West) 143rd is gravel.
Proceed for 1.5 miles to Kill Creek Rd.

Turn Left (South) on Kill Creek Rd. Kill Creek is gravel as well. Proceed approximately one half mile to our home

Turn Left into our driveway.
